Hydrotherapy refers to using water as therapy in any form, in this instance we use it for the performing of exercises in water.

The advantage of this is that it is low impact and therefore people are able to work their muscles and raise their heart rate with less stress on joints.  Other benefits of hydrotherapy can include: pain relief, improved walking/standing for those unable to on land which in turn can encourage normal movement, improved strength, balance and co-ordination, improved circulation and reduced fear of falling.
